Kitchen Reno 2010.....Finally!!

The white cracked ugly tile......goodbye
And we begin....
Gone forever....yeah!
Suddenly we decide we might as well take out the wall while we are making a mess...notice Tim's head through the hole in the wall
This is the wall dividing our kitchen and dinning room
Start on the other side
Floor gone...onto the wall almost gone
Libby wearing the ears and loving the wall being gone.
Drywall gone....onto 2x4's and wires
Lincoln sporting the ear protectors
Knocking down the little wall
2x4's gone....now wires to deal with
Supper break during our work session....Duane came over for the day to help lay the new sub floor.
Libby discovered the attic in her closet when the Electrician had to go up there.....she went up the ladder to have a peak so she could see it. She says when she is 11 years old she'll go all the way up and look around.
Wires gone....sub floor ready for tile.
View from the other side.....so much more functional and open now.
Now we need to pick out the new tile and counter....paint and we are done...stay tuned!
